Who is the Erie County EITC Coalition?
The Erie County EITC Coalition is a group of non-profit and government agencies working to provide free tax preparation, tax filing and financial literacy resources for citizens of Erie County, Ohio.

What is the EITC?
EITC stands for Earned Income Tax Credit and is a federal tax credit for low to moderate income workers.

This credit can be worth up to $464 for an individual and $5,112 with two qualifying children!

Who Qualifies for FREE tax preparation?
Individuals and couples who made $60,000 or less in 2011 are, in general, able to connect to free tax preparation services. There are some limitations – income from rental property, for example, is beyond the reach of services.
