Rev3 Triathlon - Volunteers Needed

Related:

Do you like to volunteer? Do you like to be a part of something big? If so, then Rev3 sounds like the place for you to be. Rev3 Triathlon is taking place in Sandusky this year, with the main staging area at Cedar Point and various stations around the city.

If you could give four hours of your time on September 11th, 2011 to volunteer at the Rev3 Triathlon, United Way of Erie County will receive $15.00 per person, to help fund its programs. So far we have 20 volunteers, but are still looking for 25 more! United Way of Erie County will be hosting a Runners “Aid Station” that will be located at Battery Park in Sandusky. We are looking for volunteers to help run the station from 11:00am until 11:00pm in four hour shifts. Volunteers will be handing out water, sports drink, soda, fruits, salt tablets and most importantly, encouragement to the runners as they fly by on their way to the finish line.

If September 11th does not work for you, but you would still like to volunteer and help United Way earn some money, there are other volunteering options on September 9th and September 10th as well. To see all opportunities that are available visit, www.rev3tri.com and just remember when you sign up, to put United Way of Erie County in the box that says group name on the registration.

Volunteers from years past have said that they loved the experience and have already signed up for this year again! It is really an exhilarating, motivating, and gratifying experience to see the athletes push themselves and finish the race. If this sounds like something that you would like to be a part of, please call United Way of Erie County at 419-625-4672.
